I am delighted to extend greetings to the Weekly Biz readership on the occasion of its 40th anniversary.
New Yorkers speak approximately 200 languages and hail from every corner of the earth. We are grateful for our unparalleled diversity and proud to be a vibrant global media capital. The longest-standing Japanese-language newspaper in the United States, Weekly Biz plays a key role in adding to our City’s storied status and uniting the Japanese diaspora throughout the five boroughs and well beyond. Its popularity is a testament to its quality, and I commend the paper for its four decades of educating and uplifting its community with in-depth and comprehensive coverage of business-related news and entertainment.
